Download and install CMS Camera Vantech software on your PC
CMS Camera is a software used to view cameras with Port 34567 on computers such as J-Tech, Vantech, VDTech, Siepem, etc. With full features to help you manage and monitor cameras remotely via the Internet. In addition, CMS camera software also allows you to search and play back recorded videos from the internal hard drive of the DVR.
How to install the latest CMS Camera software
- Extract the latest CMS WinRAR software .
- Select Next to run CMS Setup
- Set a Name and click Next
- Locate the installation and then click Next
- Tick on Install and then select Next
- Select Next to continue
- Select Finish to finish the installation

Add device
- Step 1 : Log in to CMS software
- User Name: super
- Password: leave blank
- Tick Save Password and Auto Login
- Step 2 : Select the language “English” and press OK
- Step 3 : Go to System Select Device Manager to add devices
- Step 4 : Select ADD AREA
- Step 5 : Install Zone and then click OK
- Zone: self-set
- Up Zone: leave blank
- Step 6 : Click on the newly created Zone and select “ Add Device ” on CMS software
- Step 7 : Then the following table will appear
- Device Name: Default is Test, you can rename it as you like
- LoginType: There are 4 options IP Address, Domain, Serial ID and Myeye
- Select IP Address view over LAN and enter IP address of the recorder.
- Select Domain to remotely view via domain name anytime, anywhere. This is a paid service that the camera installation unit provides.
- For video recorders or ip cameras with the ability to view through the manufacturer's server, enter cloud ip in the field
- IP Address: Depending on the "LoginType" section you choose which one to enter the corresponding parameter here.
- Port: The port you enter 34567. (this is the default port, if you change to another port at the recorder, you must open that port on the modem)
- Username and Password: Default User name is admin and Password is blank. However, if the camera installer has changed the Pass for you, remember to save it for later use. (In case you forget your password, you need to send the recorder to the company for them to reset the password).
- Check whether the parameters have been entered, then click OK twice to Save
After you add the device to the CMS software, you will see it displayed in the device list
To View camera live on CMS software you just need to double click on the device name to see all cameras included in this list.
How to review the CMS camera on a computer
- Step 1 : Click Record Select Playback
- Step 2 : Enter the following parameters
- Device: Select the name of the recorder to review
- Channel (Next to Device): Select the channel to be played back, for example cam1, cam 2, etc.
- Begin: Choose a start time
- End: Choose the end time
- Search: Click here to search Video
- File: Display the videos
- Select the video you want to watch again and then press Play
While reviewing the camera on CMS you can
- Play video if paused
- Pause video during playback
- Stop the video completely
- Play slow video with 4 levels: slow 2s, 4s, 6s, 8s
- Fast forward playback with 4 levels: fast 2s, 4s, 6s, 8s
- Rewind to the previous video
- Play next video
