Software initialization
- Click on the Smart PSS icon on the Desktop to open the application, select Allow access
Smart PSS password setting
The software requires you to create an admin password upon first installation to protect your privacy, as shown below:
- Password: you create it yourself
- Password strength: Green is strong, orange is medium, and red is weak.
- Confirm: Re-enter the password you just created
- Select Auto-login after registration (for convenience)
- Click Next
Security password
You choose 3 questions and then answer them yourself. Then click Finish as shown below:
Sign in Smart PSS
- User (default is admin)
- Password: is the password you just created
- Select Remember password and auto-login
- Click Login to access Smart PSS Dahua

In the main interface of the software will display all the features and settings. All are in Vietnamese, so it's very easy to use and operate according to the instructions on the screen
Add device
You can add devices automatically if the Dahua camera and computer share the same LAN. If the network is different, we will use the manual method of adding by IP/Domain and Cloud P2P. Follow me!
Method 1: Add via Cloud P2P
- Click Devices in the main interface of the software
- Select + Add
- Fill in the information in the table below
- Device name: Self-set
- Additional method: Select SN (For P2P enabled devices)
- SN: This code is at the bottom of the camera recorder (requires a dealer at the beginning)
- Username: admin
- Password: Enter the DVR password
- Click Add and you're done
Notice that the green light route is successful
Method 1: Add via IP/Domain
- Click Devices in the main interface of the software
- Select + Add
- Fill in the fields below
- Device name: Enter device name
- Extra method: IP/Free
- IP/Domain Name: Enter the domain name address here
- Port: leave as 37777
- Username: admin
- Password: Enter the DVR password
- Click Add and you're done
How to view Dahua camera on computer
- Select Live View
- Double click on the device name, then all cameras will show up by themselves for viewing
- While viewing Dahua camera on PC you can customize
- Aspect Ratio
- View 4/9/16 and customize or zoom in to see full screen

How to review the camera on a Smart PSS computer
- Click Playback on Smart PSS
- Select the device to review
- Select the time period to review
- Then click Search .
At this point, you will see 9 separate camera frames displayed. Click on the first frame to review camera No. 1. Then click on the Play icon to play the video automatically. See the picture below, you will see it is similar to Hikvision 's iVMS 4200 Lite application :
- With other cameras, you can also do the same to view multiple Dahua cameras on your computer at the same time
While reviewing the Dahua camera with the Smart PSS application on your computer, you can Zoom, fast-forward, pause playback, etc. With important videos you can extract the camera video to your computer. Extract camera dahua
- Select the camera to extract video to your computer or USB
- Select the start time in the green timeline
- Click the scissors (Clip Time)
- Select the video storage folder (Path)
- Select the output video format (.asf, .avi, .mp4)
- Click OK to export the video from Smart PSS Vietnamese to your computer
